Role Summary:

One of our esteemed clients from Hyderabad in the jewellery industry is seeking a Purchase Manager to handle sourcing and procurement of silver jewellery and gemstones, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability of products for retail operations and new store launches.

Key Responsibilities:

Source silver jewellery and gemstones from reliable suppliers.

Identify cost-effective vendors and minimize dependency on middlemen.

Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing and purchase terms.

Ensure product quality, purity standards, and compliance.

Manage stock planning and inventory coordination with stores.

Track market trends, competitor products, and pricing in the silver and gemstones segment.

Support product selection for new store openings.

Ensure timely procurement and supplier coordination.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing within the silver and gemstones jewellery industry.

Strong vendor negotiation skills with understanding of pricing, purity, and quality standards.

Experience in inventory planning and coordination with retail stores.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
