Responsibilities
The Procurement specialist reports directly to the COO and is expected to perform the following activities:
-Setup and manage the ERP system for procurement.
Identify, research, and evaluate potential suppliers.
Purchase components and manage order deliveries.
Oversee project timelines related to procurement, deliveries, and replacements.
Manage warehouse/stock and handle re-orders.
Generate automated reports in the ERP system.
Collaborate with the accountant for financial reporting.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and visit suppliers.
Oversee receipt of goods and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has the following experience and characteristics:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential.
2+ years of experience in procurement (preferably in the mechanical sector).
Good knowledge of ERP tools (at least 1).
Proven ability to manage suppliers and negotiate better deals.
Experience in product quality evaluation and delivery reliability.
Fluent in Italian and English (minimum B2 level).
Excellent communication skills with a transparent and effective approach.
Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
