Job Description

Teaching & teaching Environment (Instructional)

  • Teach students according to the competencies required in the Singapore

    Maths Curriculum.

  • Prepare classroom area, worksheets and manipulatives for class

  • Identify students’ needs and address them accordingly.

  • Incorporate the concept of growth mindset in their dealings with the students through language and example.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and achievement of students in the system on the Teacher’s Planning Guide, Progress Reports etc.
  • Monitor progress of students in terms of their grade levels and their MathsFitness goals.
  • Maintain good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times

Teaching and Teaching Environment (Non Instructional)

  • Curriculum and instructional development activities

  • Supervise students

  • Update worksheets inventory forms

  • Prepare Individual Work Envelopes of students

  • Provide content to the marketing team on the successes and progress of students

  • Maintain organization of manipulatives

  • Maintain standardized workspace tools google classrooms, class records,

    IWPs, etc.

  • Help the RO in preparing for events like Moving Up Ceremony, Christmas programs and other special events

Ensure Parents are informed about the progress of their child

  • Provide assessment and evaluation of students’ progress and concerns to

    the Management.

  • Timely completion of PR’s and monthly text update

  • Communicate with the other teachers, managers, 

    as well as the parents and guardians to ensure the best Interest

    of students

  • Conduct parent teacher conferences
