About the role

If you are an experienced Room Leader ready for your next challenge — or a skilled Educator who is ready to step up — this could be a great fit. Join a respected early learning service supporting around 75 children aged 0–5 years, rated Meeting National Quality Standard and backed by a genuinely supportive leadership team.

This is a permanent position of 32 hours per week, with the option to increase hours over time. You will have access to training, mentoring and professional development so your career keeps moving forward, not sideways.

As Room Leader, you will:

• guide your team in delivering inspiring, play-based programs
• lead the planning cycle and reflective practice
• embed EYLF and NQS into everyday learning
• coach and mentor educators in your room
• build trusting relationships with families
• foster children's wellbeing, confidence and curiosity

Your leadership will help both children and educators to thrive — and yes, the small victories count just as much as the big ones.

What you will bring

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) completed prior to Dec 2025
• At least 12 months of experience leading a room or team in an early learning service
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
• Valid Blue Card
• Confidence mentoring educators and engaging with families
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and the planning cycle
• Availability to work a rotating roster
