About the role

Our client is a family-owned early learning centre, just three years old, that caters to over 100 children when at full capacity. 

Their philosophy centres on nurturing children's interests with warmth and care, encouraging empowerment through child-initiated experiences and fostering strong connections with families and the community. Quality, teamwork and continuous training are a focus, promoting a culture of recognition and reward.

You will provide a creative environment that engages our infants and encourages them to investigate, explore and extend on their current skills and will have the unique opportunity to experience the joy and wonder that babies bring each day.

  • Assist with implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences that support the developmental needs of children in the Nursery room
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and learning of all children
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with families, partnering with them to support each child's individual needs
  • Maintaining detailed records, observations and documentation to track children's progress and inform program planning

What you will need

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum) as approved by ACECQA
  • Has at least two years of continuous experience in a similar environment (preferably nursery)
  • Passion for positively impacting children's development and mentoring fellow educators (Requirement)
  • The usual documentation Blue Card, First Aid, etc
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with colleagues, families and the community
  • A solid understanding of contemporary child-safe practices, regulations and early learning frameworks.
