Early Childhood Educator - Ipswich

About the role

As a Float Educator, you will have the opportunity to meet a variety of children in your typical day, working in age groups that are one team member short. You will work as part of a collaborative team to deliver engaging, play-based learning programs guided by the EYLF. You will nurture children's development, support planning and documentation, and build strong partnerships with families and your colleagues.

What you bring:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), completed before October 2025
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, plus a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Ideally, 12 months of full-time work experience in a similar setting
  • Enthusiasm for fostering children's growth and creating safe, inclusive environments
  • Confidence in partnering with families and working effectively in a team
  • A positive, can-do attitude to the role that always strives to go above and beyond for the children and families you care for daily.
  • Availability for full-time hours and willingness to work a rotating roster
