About the opportunity

As a Room Leader, you will play a central role in shaping meaningful learning experiences and guiding your team each day. You will design and deliver engaging, play-based programs that reflect children's interests and embed the EYLF and NQS into everyday practice.

You will mentor and support educators in your room, encouraging reflective practice and professional growth, while also building strong partnerships with families and the local community. Your voice will be valued in curriculum planning and the centres quality improvement journey, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

What you bring

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), completed prior to October 2025
  • At least 12 months experience leading a room/team in an Australian early learning context
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, plus a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Confidence in engaging families, mentoring educators, and handling challenging conversations
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and planning cycle
  • Availability to work full-time on a rotating roster
