About the job Finance Manager
We are seeking a strategic and business-oriented Finance Manager
to lead the financial transformation, planning, and performance efforts
for the FGLS Translation Business Unit. The role reports directly to the
CEO of FGLS from a business operations perspective and coordinates
closely with the Group Finance Director to ensure financial alignment
and governance.
While execution is supported by the existing outsourced finance team,
the Finance Manager will act as the focal point for transformation
projects, ERP (Odoo) rollout, strategic financial planning, and
profitability enhancement efforts.
He will also play a critical role in working directly with brand
managers to drive actionable plans that reduce losses and improve
financial control. Strategic alignment and financial governance will be
ensured through direct engagement with the Group Finance Director, while
business enablement and implementation follow-up will be done through
coordination with the CEO of FGLS.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the execution of financial transformation projects, including Odoo ERP implementation and system integrations.
Act as the strategic finance partner to the FGLS CEO, supporting long-term planning, financial scenario modeling, and business strategy alignment.
Work closely with the outsourced finance team to ensure execution is aligned with group processes and timelines.
Direct brand managers on actionable insights, financial performance enhancement, and cost control measures.
Collaborate with the Group Finance Director to ensure strategic financial initiatives are aligned with group-level governance and reporting.
Coordinate with the FGLS CEO to ensure implementation of agreed action points and business-side accountability.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking in alignment with FGLS priorities and group oversight.
Support audit readiness, tax compliance coordination, and internal financial reporting consistency.
Ensure structured communication and reporting framework is in place between the finance team and FGLS operational leads.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CMA, or FMVA certification is a plus.
5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on transformation, strategic planning, or ERP implementation.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo, and understanding of system integration projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience guiding finance operations through structural change.
Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience in working with outsourced or hybrid finance structures is preferred.
