As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production operations. You will support production managers in executing daily plans, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving improvements in processes, equipment performance, and resource utilization. This role requires both technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations & Process Control

  • Execute daily production plans, ensuring timely delivery (MPA & OTIF).
  • Monitor machinery and equipment performance, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Support the implementation of safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain production records, analyze deviations, and report issues.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

  • Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and improvement projects (e.g., SMED, TPM, line balancing, cost reduction).
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process and quality issues.
  • Suggest and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Work closely with quality teams to reduce defects, waste, and rework.

Collaboration & Support

  • Assist the Production Area Manager in coordinating resources, workforce allocation, and scheduling.
  • Support training and coaching of operators on best practices.
  • Contribute to team development through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 46 years of experience in production engineering or industrial operations (manufacturing background).
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing systems, KPIs, and process improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, equipment efficiency, and resource management.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
