Job Scope

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will act as a strategic partner between employees and management across specific business units, ensuring alignment between organizational goals and employee performance.

You will serve as a trusted HR advisor, supporting leaders in managing their teams while fostering a positive work environment. The role focuses on talent development, employee relations, HR strategy, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Management
  • Support managers in identifying and developing high-potential talent.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on performance management and employee development.
  • Facilitate talent review and calibration sessions to strengthen the talent pipeline.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.
Strategic HR Planning
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide HR input on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Handle and resolve complex employee relations cases and conduct objective investigations when required.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
Performance Management
  • Drive the performance management process to support a high-performance culture.
  • Guide managers in setting performance objectives, conducting evaluations, and creating development plans.
Training & Development
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to deliver relevant programs.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Change Management
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze HR metrics and employee data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare HR reports and insights for senior management.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Work closely with the Compensation & Benefits team to maintain competitive compensation structures.
  • Assist in compensation reviews and benefits administration.
Compliance & HR Best Practices
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in HR, preferably in roles covering employee relations, talent management, and HR operations.
  • Experience in oil & gas, energy, renewable energy, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and HR policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) are a plus.
