About the job Vendor Manager
- Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select vendors/freelancers to meet business needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and high quality.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as the main point of contact.
- Monitor vendor performance against contracts and SLAs, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Recruitment, Procurement, etc.) to align vendor support with business objectives.
- Handle issues or disputes with vendors and provide quick, effective resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, invoices, and performance reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or performance improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and sourcing tools, especially freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, etc.).
- Prepare regular reports and updates for management on vendor activities and outcomes.
- Requirements:
- 3:5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, HR recruitment, or talent acquisition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing contracts and SLAs.
- Knowledge of freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, etc.) and vendor sourcing tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Bachelors degree in business, HR, Supply Chain, or a related field (Masters is a plus).
- Recruitment certificates/courses (a plus)
