Legacy Development Director Department: FACCES Legacy Pillar

Reports To: Executive Director

Status: Part-Time Monday-Thursday 1:00pm-7:00pm Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm Location: Columbus, OH

Summary of Job: The Legacy Development Director play a foundational leadership role within the FACCES organization, advancing the mission of the Legacy Pillar by coordinating programming, developing strategic partnerships, and leading outreach that supports families in disrupting barriers through legacy-building, financial wellness, and intergenerational support. Grounded in community, equity, and excellence, this role uplifts families by ensuring access to resources that help them thrive today and establish a strong foundation for future generations.

Responsibilities:

  • FACCES Family Gatherings-Planning out themes for the year. Contact and secure speakers for each event. Plan out agendas for each gathering. Secure vendors and activities for quarterly family gatherings. Work with other pillar directors in planning events
  • FACCES Marketplace-Bringing in and distributing items for families essential resources to contribute to thriving families
  • Recruiting Hub- connecting with FACCES community partners and businesses that have opportunities for employment, internships and educational programs.
  • Resource Page-Oversee the development and curation of the Family Resource page-resource hub for families. Work closely with IT on resource page Maintenance.
  • Engage with community stakeholders, local businesses, and organizations such as SBA and the Chamber of Commerce to develop impactful partnerships.
  • Serve as a key leader and representative at public-facing events, facilitating community outreach and supporting FACCES visibility efforts.
  • Collaborate with committee members and other FACCES pillars to align programming with strategic goals and community needs.
  • Oversee the development and curation of the Family Resource page-resource hub for families.
  • Analyze participation data and feedback to refine programs and report on outcomes.

Committee & Event Engagement:

  • Monthly Legacy Development Committee Meetings First Wednesday of each month (1 hour)
  • Program & Event Support Approx. 12 additional hours/month depending on schedule

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field (Social Services, Education, Public Health), or equivalent experience preferred
  • High School Diploma required

Experience:

  • 2+ years in community outreach, social services, education, or similar
  • Experience working with under-resourced populations preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire diverse teams and families
  • Skilled in program development, community engagement, and resource navigation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
