A multi-state law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney licensed in Georgia. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to join a team with deep expertise in representing lenders and creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy matters.

The firm combines technology, efficiency, and best-in-class client service to deliver exceptional legal representation to financial institutions, investors, and commercial clients.

Position Overview

The Bankruptcy Attorney will represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, manage a diverse caseload, and provide strategic guidance while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, including court appearances
  • Prepare motions, objections, claims, and orders
  • Handle mortgage mediation matters in bankruptcy cases
  • Manage case load to meet client expectations and timelines
  • Address escalated and time-sensitive matters as needed
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to maintain smooth workflows and quality control
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia (in good standing)
  • Admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts in Georgia
  • 2-10 years of bankruptcy experience (preferably representing lenders and creditors)
  • Strong understanding of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy procedures and laws
  • Familiarity with court procedures and practices
  • Proficiency with numbers and basic accounting
