Sales Manager - Event Management
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients at exhibitions, trade shows, and events to promote and sell services (Event Security, Event Cleaners, Helpers, Hostesses, Stalls, Production, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable service packages with accurate pricing.
- Achieve monthly sales targets of AED 125K–150K for the first 3 months; targets increase based on performance and market opportunities.
- Coordinate with event planning teams to ensure proper delivery of committed services.
- Assist in setting up and managing exhibition booths, including arranging displays and materials.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demos.
- Collect, track, and follow up on leads generated during events.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine sales strategies.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2–4 years in sales or client‑facing roles, preferably in the events/exhibition industry.
- Client Portfolio: Must have at least 25 existing clients and be able to divert minimum 25% to the company.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation abilities and proactive sales mindset.
- Customer Service: Ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service.
- Professional Appearance: Must maintain a professional, client‑facing image.
- Flexibility: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules.
- Technical: Basic MS Office knowledge; CRM familiarity is a plus.
- Languages: English required; additional languages are an advantage.
