AFL Tradesman
Job Description:
Job Purpose:
To carry out routine and preventive maintenance, repair, and installation tasks related to the AFL (Asset & Facilities Lifecycle) systems, ensuring all works meet safety, quality, and operational standards. The AFL Tradesman supports smooth day-to-day operations of building assets and infrastructure through skilled technical service.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AFL-related systems and equipment.

Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective components efficiently.

Carry out mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) tasks as required.

Ensure all work is executed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and client requirements.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and service reports.

Support the AFL Supervisor in implementing asset lifecycle programs.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.

Assist in commissioning, testing, and inspection of systems.

Monitor inventory levels of tools, materials, and spare parts.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil discipline.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a skilled tradesman or technician in facilities maintenance, construction, or AFL systems.

Knowledge:

Understanding of building services and asset maintenance.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
