Fire Fighting Coordinator
Job Description:
Job Purpose
The Fire Fighting Coordinator will act as the key liaison between the client and the specialist fire service provider, ensuring that all firefighting maintenance activities are carried out effectively and in line with client expectations. The role requires strong technical expertise, operational oversight, and the ability to manage subcontractors while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Coordination

Coordinate between client maintenance requirements and service provider deliveries.

Monitor and follow up on service delivery tasks to ensure compliance with agreed scope and timelines.
Management & Leadership

Direct, guide, and motivate the firefighting service provider to meet client expectations.

Ensure effective planning and smooth execution of firefighting maintenance services.

Promote a customer-focused culture built on transparency, trust, and performance.

Assist the Facility Manager in maintaining a positive and professional project image.

Continuously improve processes, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Operational Oversight

Monitor preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance activities of the service provider.

Review and approve work permits, ensuring proper permit management.
-
Oversee execution plans, work timing, and system criticality.

Ensure timely submission of reports, certifications, and compliance documents.

Manage spare parts requirements and approve client quotations.
-
Support management in BOQ preparation and follow-up of extra works.

Ensure compliance with IMS, HSE, and client safety requirements.
Authority
-
Full authority to coordinate with client engineers.
-
Authorized to approve purchase requests related to firefighting operations.

Decision-making authority on maintenance activities in line with company and site policies.

Authorized to liaise with subcontractors for contractual service delivery.
Skills & Competencies

In-depth technical knowledge of:

Fire Pumps (O&M)
-
FM200 & Pre-action Systems
-
Fire Hydrants, Landing Valves (FHC)

Zone Control Valves & Sprinkler Systems
-
Sprinklers, Foam, FE, Hose Reels, Hydrants, Fire Pumps

Strong knowledge of NFPA and DCD standards.

Experience with BMS & Fire Systems.

Knowledge of plumbing (domestic & industrial).
-
Good knowledge of pool operations and water treatment.
-
Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and management abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Customer-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in CAFM systems and MS Office (Word, Excel).

Knowledge of the local supplier market.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Engineering Degree/Diploma (or equivalent experience).
-
35 years experience in facilities management/firefighting company.
-
Strong background in firefighting maintenance operations.
-
Exposure to multicultural work environments.
-
Proven leadership and operations management experience.
