Senior Team Leader/Team Leader

 Job Description:

Job Purpose:

To oversee efficient and effective maintenance of all assets and personnel in a designated area, ensuring high operational reliability and safety during shifts. Continuously improve maintenance practices to meet objectives and provide engineering expertise for asset management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma (3-year duration) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
  • Current valid UAE driving license (essential).

Skills & Experience:

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years in large-scale Facility Maintenance or similar.
  • Airport experience (preferred).

Technical Skills (One of the following):

  1. MEP Systems & Assets:

    • HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, air handling units (AHUs).
    • Electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, backup generators.
    • Plumbing systems, firefighting, drainage, water supply.
  2. Civil Assets in Buildings/Building Envelopes/Furniture:

    • Structural integrity, waterproofing, roofing systems.
    • Interior fit-outs, furniture repairs, doors/windows.
  3. Utilities Assets/Systems/Networks:

    • Water supply networks, sewage treatment plants.
    • District cooling plants, electrical substations.
    • High-voltage/low-voltage power distribution.
  4. Airfield/Roads/Pavement Assets:

    • Runway, taxiway, apron, and pavement maintenance.
    • Road networks, drainage systems, signage.
  5. Airfield/Outdoor Lighting Systems:

    • Runway/taxiway lighting, apron floodlighting, solar lighting.

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership & People Management:

    • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, workforce planning, conflict resolution.
  • Communication & Coordination:

    • Liaise with management, clients, and technicians; prepare reports.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:

    • Quick troubleshooting, data-driven solutions, cost optimization.
  • Customer/Stakeholder Management:

    • Manage SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory compliance (NFPA, ICAO, etc.).
  • Digital Proficiency:

    • BMS, SCADA, CMMS (Maximo), Microsoft Office, data analysis tools.

Maintenance Responsibilities (Direct Exposure):

  • Preventive/Condition-Based Maintenance.
  • Breakdown troubleshooting, inspections, risk assessments.
  • Permit-to-work management, emergency response.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA), compliance with safety standards (ISO, OSHA).
