Sr. Engineer

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all building systems.
  • Managing and coordinating with contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
  • Developing and managing budgets for maintenance and repairs, controlling costs and identifying areas for potential savings.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Developing and implementing emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fire, power outages, or other emergencies.
  • Coordinating with other departments, such as security and Projects, to ensure smooth building operations.
  • Providing regular reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and budget status.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Implementing and monitoring sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and promote environmental responsibility.
  • Managing small-scale projects related to building maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in facilities management, with experience in high-rise buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is often desirable.
  • Experience with FM of high-rise building, construction and handover is a plus.
