Sr. Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all building systems.
- Managing and coordinating with contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
- Developing and managing budgets for maintenance and repairs, controlling costs and identifying areas for potential savings.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fire, power outages, or other emergencies.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as security and Projects, to ensure smooth building operations.
- Providing regular reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and budget status.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
- Implementing and monitoring sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and promote environmental responsibility.
- Managing small-scale projects related to building maintenance and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in facilities management, with experience in high-rise buildings.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is often desirable.
- Experience with FM of high-rise building, construction and handover is a plus.
