Job Summary:
The Passenger Transport Coordinator is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and overseeing the safe and efficient transportation of passengers. This role ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and customer service standards while managing drivers, vehicles, and transport logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate daily passenger transport schedules.
Assign vehicles and drivers based on route requirements and passenger needs.
Monitor fleet performance and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger logs.
Communicate with passengers regarding schedules, delays, and service updates.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and transport regulations.
Collaborate with HR and operations teams to manage driver rosters and resolve issues.
Handle emergency situations and reroute transport plans as needed.
Conduct regular audits of transport documentation and reporting systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in transport coordination or fleet management.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of local transport regulations and safety standards.
