Sustainability Solutions Consultant

 Job Description:

  • Client-facing consultative role responsible for engaging potential and existing clients, understanding their sustainability challenges, and translating them into actionable scopes in collaboration with the technical team. This role acts as a bridge between client objectives and technical delivery, supporting proposal development, coordinating solution design, and ensuring alignment between commercial and sustainability goals.
  • Accountabilities
  • Client Engagement & Scoping
    • Liaise with clients to gather sustainability requirements and assess needs.
    • Translate client needs into structured scopes of work in collaboration with technical experts.
    • Support discovery sessions, diagnostic assessments, and client interviews focused on areas such as energy, circularity, ESG, carbon management, and certifications.
  • Proposal & Commercial Support
    • Develop concept notes and proposal frameworks with the technical team.
    • Ensure proposals align with client expectations, local regulations, and international standards.
    • Coordinate pricing, timelines, and deliverables with internal stakeholders.
    • Utilize Salesforce or other CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
    • Maintain internal trackers for proposals, client engagement, and progress monitoring.
  • Project Alignment & Follow-up
    • Maintain active follow-up on submitted proposals and client responses.
    • Support the handover process from sales to delivery team for smooth project onboarding.
    • Track engagement pipeline and maintain client communications for ongoing opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy
    • Stay informed of sustainability trends, certifications, and industry developments.
    • Provide insights on emerging client needs and potential service enhancements.
    • Support the development and execution of growth strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
    • Act as liaison between technical delivery team and client-facing activities.
    • Participate in internal meetings to ensure alignment on solution development and execution.
    • Provide support in project execution and delivery where needed, ensuring client objectives are met.
