Logistics Executive

 Job Description:

To manage and coordinate day-to-day internal logistics operations including driver assignments, vehicle movements, material dispatch, and support for FM site operations. The role is focused on internal coordination and ensuring smooth logistics support across sites.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate daily driver schedules and assign transportation tasks based on operational requirements.
  • Monitor the movement of company vehicles and ensure timely dispatch and arrival of personnel and materials.
  • Communicate with site supervisors and technicians to understand transportation and delivery needs.
  • Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules; coordinate with the fleet team as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation of delivery notes, trip sheets, and internal movement logs.
  • Act as a point of contact between drivers and internal departments to resolve issues or delays.
  • Assist in the allocation and movement of tools, equipment, and consumables to various FM sites.
  • Maintain a daily log of transportation activities and prepare reports for management.
  • Support procurement and store teams in dispatch coordination for urgent material requirements.
  • Ensure all logistical operations comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and timelines.

Education/Qualification

  • Diploma or bachelors degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field.

Experience (experience required for the job)

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within facilities management or service industry
