The purpose of the role is to operate the designated vehicles within the division according to the specified procedures during a designated shift. Adherence of works to internal and external safety and quality standards as well as Airside safety procedures shall be ensured.

The jobholder should be educated to High School diploma level and be trained in an appropriate field related to the specific work area.

Current valid UAE driving license

Experience:

A minimum of 05 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Requirements:

Need to hold a valid UAE license (4 / 8 or both). Any additional permit is an advantage
Knowledge of Dubai Airports Safety, particularly ramp safety rules.
Technical and mechanical skills required to operate equipment.
Able to speak and understand English with a good level of fluency.

Responsibilities:

Operate Utility Vehicles, petrol/diesel runway & road sweepers, Trucks, Loaders, Litter vacuum machines, hydro-blasting machines, access equipment, and other vehicles in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company procedures.

Ensure airport roadways at landside and airside, including GSE roads, car parks, tunnels, fences, and apron areas, are maintained free of FOD/debris at all times.

Maintain a clean and functioning vehicle; report/notify Supervisors of any defects or damages to the assigned vehicle during the shift.

Empty the road sweeper machine at the end of the shift and carry out cleaning of the vehicle.

Present the vehicle to the motor transport section for inspection as per the schedule. Ensure the required Vehicle Service Book is completed regularly.

Be aware of and adhere to all DA (Dubai Airport) Safety & Security rules and regulations.

Complete the Vehicle Service Book as required.

Respond on time to emergency calls as and when required.

Undertake assigned duties in the designated areas, adhering to SOPs and Job Card specifications, and maintain checklists/log books for reference.
