Housekeeping - Training Manager

 Job Description:

Job Purpose:

To lead and enhance Farneks training strategy for housekeeping and cleaning teams by developing best-in-class training programs aligned with 5-star hospitality standards, and global certifications such as BICSc, ISSA, and GBAC. The role supports Farneks vision of delivering smart, sustainable, and technology-driven service excellence across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver structured housekeeping and cleaning training programs aligned with luxury hotel and 5-star hospitality standards.
  • Integrate international cleaning and hygiene standards from BICSc, ISSA, and GBAC into Farneks training framework.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, and training content tailored to various service environments (hospitality, commercial, healthcare, and residential).
  • Promote infection prevention and biorisk cleaning protocols through GBAC-aligned training modules.
  • Utilize Farneks LMS platform and e-learning tools to roll out, track, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Conduct audits, skills assessments, and refresher courses to ensure consistent service delivery across sites.
  • Drive training engagement using mobile learning, video-based tutorials, gamification, and digital badges.

Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and HR teams to ensure alignment between training, client expectations, and KPIs.

  • Support new employee onboarding, subcontractor training, and project mobilization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Training, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a housekeeping management or training role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or FM service provider.
  • Expertise in BICSc, ISSA, and GBAC cleaning protocols and certification processes.
  • Proven experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training platforms.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about technology-led learning and service innovation.

Preferred Certifications:

  • BICSc Certified Trainer or Assessor
  • GBAC Certified Technician
  • ISSA CIMS Certification
  • Train-the-Trainer (TOT) Certification or equivalent
