Job Title: Lifeguard

Job Summary:

The Lifeguard will ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users by enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in and around the swimming pool area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor swimming pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers and users.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all emergencies, administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
  • Enforce all pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of the pool, surrounding area, and equipment, and report any hazards or maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pool and surrounding deck area in coordination with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries or concerns.
  • Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate incident and activity reports as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a hospitality or facilities management setting.
  • Physically fit and able to swim strongly and perform rescues.
  • Strong observational skills and ability to stay focused for extended periods.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of water quality and chemical safety procedures.
  • Previous experience in UAE or GCC preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor work environment with exposure to sun and heat.
  • Rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
