A leading imaging department in Western Massachusetts is seeking a full-time MRI Technician to support daytime operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform MRI procedures that meet clinical and diagnostic standards
- Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements
- Provide occasional oversight or training to support departmental needs
- Keep all certifications and departmental competencies current through mandatory training sessions
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate imaging results
Qualifications:
- Completion of an AMA-approved MRI program (or diagnostic X-ray program with MRI training)
- CPR certification required
- ARRT (MR) certification required within two years of hire
- ARRT (RTR) and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License preferred
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple clinical tasks
- Must meet annual education and compliance standards
