A leading imaging department in Western Massachusetts is seeking a full-time MRI Technician to support daytime operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform MRI procedures that meet clinical and diagnostic standards
  • Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS systems with accuracy and efficiency
  • Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements
  • Provide occasional oversight or training to support departmental needs
  • Keep all certifications and departmental competencies current through mandatory training sessions
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate imaging results

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA-approved MRI program (or diagnostic X-ray program with MRI training)
  • CPR certification required
  • ARRT (MR) certification required within two years of hire
  • ARRT (RTR) and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License preferred
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple clinical tasks
  • Must meet annual education and compliance standards
