We are hiring internally at FastLane for a hybrid role based in Malaysia, supporting audit engagements for our Hong Kong SME clients. 

The role requires an on-site presence during the initial six-month probation period. 

This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work with occasional in-office collaboration, and provides opportunities to gain exposure to regional engagements.

About the Role

As an Auditor, you will:

  • Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with Hong Kong Standards on Auditing (HKSAs), applying HKFRS and IFRS.

  • Plan and execute audit procedures, preparing thorough documentation and working papers.

  • Identify key audit findings and support reporting processes.

  • Collaborate closely with our Hong Kong audit teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while liaising with clients on audit-related matters.

  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and deliverables.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1–3 years of external audit experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with HKFRS, IFRS, and HKSAs.

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, HKICPA) is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-border team.

  • Excellent time management and output-driven mindset.

  • Good command of written and spoken English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
