Job Overview
A growing financial education and digital media business is looking for a Malaysia-based Growth & Marketing Associate to support audience growth, digital campaigns, and content initiatives across Cantonese-speaking markets.
The business focuses on investing and value investing education through online content, webinars, courses, and social media platforms. This opportunity is suitable for someone entrepreneurial, self-driven, and genuinely interested in finance, investing, and digital growth.
Location: Remote (Malaysia-Based)
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and optimise digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google, and related platforms
- Support lead generation and audience growth initiatives
- Assist with short-form content execution for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, webinars, and online course promotions
- Monitor campaign performance and provide optimisation recommendations
- Work closely with the founder and core team on growth and content initiatives
- Support ad hoc marketing and business growth projects when required
Requirements
- Malaysia-based candidate
- Fluent Cantonese speaker is mandatory
- Able to read and write Traditional Chinese
- 2–4 years of relevant marketing experience (startup, agency, or in-house)
- Hands-on experience with Meta/Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Google Ads
- Familiar with short-form content and social media trends
- Self-managed, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Strong interest in investing, trading, finance, or personal finance related topics is highly preferred
- Able to travel to Hong Kong occasionally for shoots, meetings, and collaboration sessions

Compensation & Engagement
- RM7,000 – RM10,000 (depending on experience and engagement structure)
- Freelancer / contract-based arrangement
- Minimum 6-month commitment
