About the job End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
We are looking for EUC Enginner on behalf of our client, a well-established construction company headquartered in Brisbane, to support and enhance its modern end-user computing environment.

About the Role
As the EUC Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of end-user devices, applications, and endpoint security. You will work closely with IT leadership, systems administrators, and service desk teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performing user experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Device Management

Deploy, configure, and support Windows and macOS endpoints.

Manage the full device lifecycle including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.
Application & Endpoint Security

Manage application whitelisting, ringfencing, and access controls.

Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts, proactively mitigating risks.

Partner with IT leadership to enforce endpoint security best practices.
Remote Monitoring & Automation

Use remote management tools (e.g. NinjaOne) for monitoring, support, and automated patching.

Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and system health checks.

Produce reports on device performance, compliance, and security posture.
Incident & Problem Management

Provide Level 2/3 support for end-user computing incidents.

Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application-related issues.

Document solutions and contribute to a centralised knowledge base.
Projects & Continuous Improvement

Participate in EUC-related projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.

Evaluate emerging technologies to improve user experience and security.

Maintain vendor relationships with EUC technology partners including ThreatLocker and NinjaOne.
Collaboration & Service Excellence

Work closely with Systems Administrators and the Service Desk team.

Support day-to-day IT operations and contribute to improved customer satisfaction.

Undertake additional duties as required.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
-
Proven experience in end-user computing, desktop engineering, or modern workplace support.

Hands-on experience with Modern Device Management tools such as Intune, Autopilot, NinjaOne, or similar.

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, and applications.

Solid understanding of endpoint security, patching, and compliance.
Desirable
-
Experience working in Construction, Civil, or Mining environments.

ITIL Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain).

Microsoft and/or AWS certification.

Exposure to Linux environments.
