Our client, a well-established custom plastic fabrication company located in Crystal Lake, IL, is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager / Project Engineer to support both quoting and execution phases of manufacturing projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical foundation who enjoy working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage detailed quotes, cost estimates, and customer proposals
• Oversee end-to-end execution of manufacturing projects, including engineering, procurement, quality, and installation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Monitor project feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively across internal teams and with customers
• Review customer requirements prior to manufacturing to ensure alignment with proposed solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing project management or engineering
• Associate degree or higher in an engineering discipline
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints (mandatory)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a high level of energy and initiative
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or E-Drawings
• Background in plastic fabrication or similar industrial environments
