Position Summary:
We are seeking a degreed Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment within a growing organization. This role involves working closely with senior engineering staff from initial conceptual design through construction and commissioning on both large- and small-scale facilities projects.

Typical projects span various industries including education, public works, water/wastewater, transportation, transit, health care, and aviation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform design computations and develop plans in accordance with client specifications.
- Utilize design software and drawing tools for project execution.
- Prepare construction cost estimates.
- Compile and develop contract plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Attend client meetings and maintain effective communication.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and quality project completion.
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in areas such as electrical power distribution, power generation, motor controls, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems, telecommunications network design, or security systems design.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Autodesk CADD and Autodesk Revit.
- Proficiency in discipline-specific design software.
- Knowledge and application of NEC, IBC, and NFPA codes.
- Must successfully complete and pass Motor Vehicle screening.
Preferred Experience:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
- Working knowledge of Bentleys MicroStation.
- Experience with Electrical Modeling Software (SKM Power Tools or ETAP).
- Experience with Lighting Modeling Software (AGi32 or ElumTools).
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.
- Experience working with federal, state, and local government agencies and codes.
- Experience serving local clients at county and state levels.
Working Conditions:
- 90% of work performed in an office environment.
- Occasional fieldwork under various weather conditions.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Regional travel (within 90 miles) required for meetings, surveys, and construction site visits.
