Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams
- Produce coordinated design drawings, BIM models, specifications, reports, and site observation documents
- Coordinate with utility providers and secure electrical permits through Plan Check

Prepare technical and financial proposals for new projects

Oversee and mentor Project Engineers and Technicians, ensuring quality control

Develop concept and preliminary engineering solutions through to detailed design

Write and review technical specifications

Monitor and report on project financial performance and resource utilization

Keep senior stakeholders informed and ensure client objectives are met

Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth

Proactively manage workload to meet deadlines and project commitments
- Contribute to delivering profitable projects through effective project administration
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in electrical engineering design within building services and construction, specifically on large-scale Higher Education, Museum, Commercial, Transportation Hub, or Stadium projects
- Licensing: Proven track record of electrical engineering work in the State of California

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with computational tools for electrical fault analysis and lighting design
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present confidently to C-suite stakeholders
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and mentor junior engineers
