Job Title: Senior Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL (requires 25 - 50 % travel )
Reporting to: Senior Director, Engineering, North America
Job Summary
The Senior Engineer provides engineering, project, and processing support to multiple manufacturing facilities. The role drives productivity in key metrics, delivers maintenance excellence, and leads capital projects while collaborating closely with plant leadership and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities

Execute large- and small-scale engineering initiatives with minimal supervision.

Support maintenance-excellence programs at all assigned facilities.
- Maintain a broad working knowledge of the companys processes, products, and machinery.
- Lead major capital projects and manage scope, budget, schedule, status reporting, and performance to design objectives.
- Evaluate new technologies; recommend alternative equipment and process systems, including vendor visits and selection.
- Assist plant management in identifying maintenance skill gaps and in evaluating technical candidates.
- Work the hours necessary to meet objectives, which may include weekends, extended shifts, and travel.

Monitor project spending to ensure alignment with approved limits.
Qualifications

You hold a BS in Engineering with a concentration in mechanical or plastics.
- You have 5 + years of manufacturing experience in plastics, preferably injection molding and profile extrusion.
- You bring hands-on implementation experience with injection-mold processing and troubleshooting.
- You possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, project-management software, etc.).
- You have practical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, automation, and PLCs.
- You have prior project-management experience delivering capital or process-improvement projects.
