About the role

We are partnering with a rapidly growing boutique advisory firm in Melbourne CBD seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

You will manage a diverse SME portfolio and work closely with senior leaders on both compliance and advisory engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns (companies, trusts, individuals, partnerships)
• Manage your own client portfolio
• Support tax planning and advisory work
• Work directly with clients as a trusted advisor
• Review junior staff work and contribute to development
• Assist with broader business advisory projects

About you

• Australian qualifications and experience
• CA/CPA qualified or near completion
• 3–5+ years' public practice experience
• Strong tax and compliance technical skills
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience
• Interested in progressing into advisory and leadership
