General Manager Travel & Tourism

We are seeking an experienced and innovative General Manager to lead one of the fast-growing travel business in Baku. You will oversee high-volume airline ticketing operations, develop unique tourism products, and deliver a superior customer experience across all touchpoints.

Airline Ticketing Management

  • Oversee airline ticketing operations and ensure continued market leadership.

  • Strengthen and expand partnerships with airline providers; negotiate competitive fares and agreements.

  • Monitor airline industry trends and proactively adapt the companys commercial strategy.

Tourism Product & Innovation

  • Develop new tourism and travel packages tailored to diverse customer segments.

  • Identify emerging market trends and customer preferences to drive product innovation.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to successfully launch and promote offerings.

Customer Experience & Front-Office Oversight

  • Manage high walk-in traffic operations, ensuring a premium guest experience.

  • Oversee client inquiries, bookings, and customer care processes with quality and speed.

  • Maintain high service standards and protect the agencys premium brand image.

Business Development & Finance

  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Execute sales and retention strategies to drive revenue growth.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure strong financial performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience.

  • Strong leadership background within travel, airline, or hospitality sectors preferred.

  • Proven experience leading customer-facing, high-volume service operations.

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English required.
