EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
Assignments/Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for the smooth organization and running of the housekeeping
department - Assist the housekeeping team with the cleaning and service of guests' cabins,
including turndown service and embarkation set up as needed - Welcome and greet guests according to company standards
- Overlook and monitor the distribution of items to cabins
- Strive to reach cost, revenue, and rating targets and implement necessary
improvements and actions - Overall responsibility for uniforms (issuance, controlling, and returning)
- Evaluate the housekeeping team with the assistance of the Assistant Housekeeper
and provide feedback to crewmembers, including performance-enhancing action
plans when needed - Review cruise questionnaires and address any matters with the housekeeping
team, etc.
Your profile:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a housekeeping department as a manager
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Experience in 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships)
- Knowledge of budgeting, costs, and KPIs
- Excellent understanding of chemicals and cleaning products, etc.
