EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER



Assignments/Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for the smooth organization and running of the housekeeping
    department
  • Assist the housekeeping team with the cleaning and service of guests' cabins,
    including turndown service and embarkation set up as needed
  • Welcome and greet guests according to company standards
  • Overlook and monitor the distribution of items to cabins
  • Strive to reach cost, revenue, and rating targets and implement necessary
    improvements and actions
  • Overall responsibility for uniforms (issuance, controlling, and returning)
  • Evaluate the housekeeping team with the assistance of the Assistant Housekeeper
    and provide feedback to crewmembers, including performance-enhancing action
    plans when needed
  • Review cruise questionnaires and address any matters with the housekeeping
    team, etc.

Your profile:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a housekeeping department as a manager
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Experience in 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships)
  • Knowledge of budgeting, costs, and KPIs
  • Excellent understanding of chemicals and cleaning products, etc.
