About the job Sales Person
Role Overview
To generate sales, build strong customer relationships, and grow the customer base by offering products and solutions that meet client needs. The Salesperson is responsible for driving revenue, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and client referrals.
- Actively promote company products and services to existing and potential customers.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Provide product knowledge and assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge and Presentation:
- Stay up to date with product features, pricing, and industry trends.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Provide input on customer feedback and market trends.
Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer information in CRM systems.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Business (advantageous)
- 23 years of experience in a sales role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Valid drivers license and own reliable transport (if travel is required)
