Main tasks:

• Serve as the business representative for all affected engineering teams within the PLM workstream
  
• Co-develop future end-to-end PLM processes in close collaboration with a team of experienced business experts
  
• Define and align a global PLM process template, ensuring consistency and harmonization across regions
  
• Ensure the PLM solution acts as the product authority and single source of truth for product data in the headquarters and across international hubs (e.g. sourcing in Asia, global service network)
  
• Lead the PLM business workstream within a global S/4HANA transformation, assuming a senior project management role
  
• Ensure delivery of the workstreams vision, goals, timeline, scope, quality, and budget
  
• Represent the PLM workstream in governance forums and actively drive decision-making processes
  
• Collaborate closely with the IT counterpart and other key stakeholders, maintaining a healthy balance between business and technical requirements
  
• Set up and manage an effective workstream organization, including task distribution, planning, and progress tracking
  
• Facilitate alignment and efficient decision-making with other business workstream leads and overall program management
  
• Take ownership of risk management, quality assurance, scope control, and dependency tracking within the PLM area

Your qualifications:

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  
• Recognized project management certification (e.g. IPMA Level B or equivalent)
  
• Several years of experience in project management or team leadership roles in a technical or industrial environment
  
• Strong practical expertise in Engineering / PLM / Product Data Management processes, especially in configure-to-order or similar manufacturing contexts
  
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-year, cross-functional IT or engineering projects
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and PLM/PDM/CAD tools such as CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE, SAP PLM (e.g. Pronovia), or comparable systems
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels and disciplines
  
• Strong resilience and ability to navigate ambiguity, make decisions under uncertainty, and weigh risk vs. benefit
  
• Fluent in English, confident in German
