Main tasks:
- Design cross-border financial reporting specifications in line with IFRS 17/9, translating complex functional requirements into technical SAP FPSL solutions

Develop proof-of-concept testing, converting successful prototypes into detailed business requirement documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and effective implementation

Identify critical risks associated with functionality changes and define testing strategies to mitigate both specific and regression risks
-
Execute regression testing of existing and updated functionalities

Present and communicate complex technical and financial information to diverse stakeholder groups across functions

Conduct quantitative and financial analysis of IFRS 9/17 results, with the ability to model across multi-regulatory regimes, including non-European jurisdictions

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to long-term knowledge development

Ensure data integrity across global data sources through deep-dive analysis using SQL, Stargate, Artemis, and Advanced Excel in alignment with IFRS standards
- Support the preparation of audit documentation and evidence, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial results
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics
- Extensive international experience with IFRS 17/9 implementation in SAP FPSL across multi-jurisdictional environments

In-depth understanding of SAP FPSL functionalities

Proven subject matter expertise in IFRS 17/9, including applications in emerging markets and knowledge of actuarial processes

Ability to interpret and forecast IFRS 17/9 outcomes based on various accounting scenarios

Experience integrating custom programs into financial reporting to enrich and structure input data

Skilled in producing clear, concise documentation for training, maintenance, and support

Resilient under pressure, able to manage workload independently and provide support during peak reporting periods

Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning

Strong collaborative mindset, with ability to work effectively across technical and business domains within the end-to-end reinsurance reporting environment

Experience in mentoring, with a commitment to supporting the development of junior colleagues
- Experience in training and leading small teams

Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
