Main tasks:

• Manage and optimize the SAP system landscape and technical infrastructure, ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations
  
• Oversee data source integrations from ERP (SAP ECC, S/4HANA) and non-ERP systems, ensuring seamless onboarding, testing, and compliance with integration standards
  
• Collaborate with source system technical teams to ensure smooth data extraction to the data platform and identify any source-side activities that may impact extraction processes
  
• Conduct impact analysis, coordinate testing, and define actions in response to planned or unplanned changes at source systems
  
• Lead governance meetings with source system teams to review integration performance and issues
  
• Estimate costs and manage implementation of cloud or on-premises infrastructure (including Azure) required for integrations
  
• Identify root causes of long-standing or recurring issues in data pipelines and drive resolution in collaboration with technical teams
  
• Provide regular updates to technical stakeholders on integration status, infrastructure improvements, and data quality initiatives

Your qualifications:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Engineering, or related field
  
• Certifications in SAP (ECC, HANA) and cloud infrastructure (e.g. Azure)
  
• Several years of experience with SAP technologies and infrastructure support, including stakeholder management
  
• Expertise in integration of ERP and non-ERP source systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Workday, Salesforce, etc.)
  
• Solid knowledge of SAP Basis, Solution Manager (SOLMAN), and infrastructure optimization for global data systems
  
• Strong understanding of server architectures (physical, virtual), storage management, network configurations, load balancing, operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), and database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functional teams (SAP functional consultants, developers, network admins, etc.)
  
• Ability to manage relationships with source system owners, ensure KPI alignment, and deliver on technical requirements
  
• Motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of driving global integrations while fostering continuous improvement in data processes
  
• Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
