Main tasks:

• Implement, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based systems, primarily in Microsoft Azure
  
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize SAP systems (on-premise and cloud), including S/4HANA and other SAP solutions
  
• Lead SAP data center migrations and cloud transitions (e.g. MS Azure, other cloud providers) while acting as technical project manager
  
• Ensure optimal cloud network and security in hybrid environments
  
• Drive modernization initiatives for legacy systems
  
• Define and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
  
• Manage S/4HANA and system upgrades end-to-end (budgeting, planning, execution, hypercare)
  
• Collaborate across teams to design new solutions (infrastructure, security, application support)
  
• Work with a diverse SAP application portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and support
  
• Mentor team members and provide architectural advisory on SAP projects and new solutions
  
• Act as key advisor for SAP Basis architecture and strategic planning, aligned with SAP service delivery goals

Your qualifications:

• Several years SAP Basis experience in an architect and/or lead role
  
• Proven track record in managing complex SAP migrations (on-premise to cloud / cloud-to-cloud)
  
• Hands-on expertise in SAP on Microsoft Azure or other cloud infrastructures
  
• Deep understanding of SAP architecture (ABAP / Java stacks, NetWeaver, Fiori, HANA DB, Linux)
  
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools
  
• Strong communication and documentation skills
  
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  
• SAP Certified Technology Architect or equivalent certification (a plus)
  
• Exposure to RISE with SAP migration projects is a plus
