Key Facts: Lead the SAP Basis, Development & Security Department, Project management: SAP S/4HANA transformation, SAP RISE, SAP Cloud-Platforms, Hands-on attitude, in Winterthur/home office.

Main tasks:

• Leadership: Direct the SAP Platform Services function, including SAP Basis, SAP Security, SAP Development teams, and external service partners.
  
• Environment Management: Administer SAP RISE environments, including license management and optimization.
  
• Architecture: Own and continuously improve the global SAP infrastructure architecture and strategic roadmap.
  
• Operations: Ensure stable daily operations of SAP systems, focusing on uptime, security, compliance, and system performance.
  
• Project Management: Provide technical and leadership support for the ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation and upcoming SAP consolidation projects.
  
• System Maintenance: Supervise installations, upgrades, patching cycles, and perform proactive system maintenance.
  
• Troubleshooting: Lead advanced SAP Basis troubleshooting, including root cause analysis and resolution of critical incidents.
  
• Security: Implement and oversee system security hardening, role-based access, and compliance-aligned authorization design.
  
• Development Governance: Guide custom development strategy, tool selection, and governance practices across the SAP ecosystem.
  
• Collaboration: Partner with SAP Application teams to support technical feasibility, system reliability, and optimal performance.

Your qualifications:

• Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  
• Experience: Extensive hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Consultant or Administrator in complex SAP environments.
  
• Development Skills: Proficiency in SAP development (ABAP stack, transport management, and custom code governance).
  
• Security Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP Security, including user role design, authorization concepts, and GRC standards.
  
• Cloud Familiarity: Knowledge of cloud-based SAP platforms such as SAP BTP, CALM, SAP for Me, and Commerce Cloud.
  
• S/4HANA Knowledge: Practical experience with S/4HANA system architecture, migrations, and hybrid (on-premise/cloud) setups.
  
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical teams or managing projects, ideally in a global or multicultural setting.
  
• Communication: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; fluent in English and German.
  
• Seniority: Several years in a senior SAP technical leadership role or equivalent capacity.
