Main tasks:

  • Owning the architectural blueprint for the Sales domain and ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide standards
  • Performing regular architecture assessments to evaluate maturity, documentation quality and regulatory or architectural compliance
  • Defining, maintaining and continuously evolving domain building blocks such as capability maps, application landscapes and business object models
  • Guiding initiatives through end-to-end architectural governance, including quality gates, reviews and formal approvals
  • Creating enterprise architecture artefacts for initiatives, ranging from capability mappings to detailed solution blueprints
  • Reviewing solution designs, identifying architectural risks or technical debt and documenting required deviations or exceptions
  • Providing ad-hoc architectural guidance, assessments and impact analyses to business and project teams
  • Acting as the primary architectural advisor by translating business requirements into sustainable, scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborating closely with Enterprise Architecture and other Domain Architects to ensure cross-domain alignment and consistency
  • Contributing to long-term technology strategy decisions and escalating significant architectural topics to the Architecture Decision Board

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, SAP SD, CPQ integrations and modern integration patterns
  • Professional experience in solution architecture, technical leadership or enterprise architecture roles
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and architectural governance practices
  • Strong knowledge of Sales-related processes such as Lead-to-Cash, Quote-to-Cash and forecasting, as well as CRM data models
  • Proven ability to create clear, structured documentation, architectural models and application landscape views
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectural topics to both business and technical stakeholders
  • Proactive, structured and collaborative working style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
