  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
  • Clearance Requirements: Tier 1 Background Investigation - National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check, and fingerprints. (Standard Form 85).
  • Estimate Pay: $16.21 - 21.30 per hour.
  • Type of Employment: 40 hours per week.
  • Period of Performance: 25 September 2025 to 24 October 2029
  • Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered: Health/Dental/Vision.
  • Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
  • Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.
  • Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays.
  • Travel: Travel is not authorized

Working Hours

Work will be scheduled generally from 08:00 a.m. to 1630 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when employees must work outside of duty hours and/or on weekends to support specific tasks. Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week.

Summary:

The Administration and Data Specialist will support the U.S. Army Community Services, U.S. Army Family Advocacy Program by assisting staff as they provide counseling, skill-building workshops, home visits, and crisis support. Army Family Advocacy Program strengthens family relationships and enhances the readiness of Soldiers. Specialized programs such as the New Parent Support Program, Transitional Compensation for abused dependents, and 24/7 victim advocacy services ensure that Families receive compassionate, confidential care tailored to their unique needs.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrate Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Possess basic communication skills suitable for a professional environment.
  • Be able to speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Duties include scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phones, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and responding to written communications.
  • Coordinate office-related meetings, including preparing agendas and/or handouts, handling logistics, capturing meeting minutes, and following up on action items as requested.
  • Create and update data tracking systems and assist with data analysis, processing, and collection, working alongside the staff of the Army Family Advocacy Program (FAPM).
  • Assist in processing family violence, outreach services, parenting, and parenting education training data and their interpretation against other data sets.
  • Assist FAPM with general administrative support services and taskers.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach services as required.
  • Assist with the education and training of Soldiers and family members on family life issues.
  • Assist with general information and referral services.
  • Be able to lift boxes and materials to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Provide other services as needed to support the operations of the Army Family Advocacy staff.
