• Clearance Requirements: National Crime Information Center (NCIC) with fingerprints and Drug Screen
• Estimated Compensation: $42.19 - $53.86 per hour (negotiable).
• Type of Employment: 20 to 40 hours a week depending on student needs/caseload.
• Relationship: 1099 Independent Contractor.

Summary of Duties

New Orleans Louisiana (OLA) Public Schools is seeking Licensed Independent Contractors to provide school-based physical therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Contractors will deliver direct and/or related services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations governing special education.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Must hold a current Physical Therapist license in the state of Louisiana.
• Certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) preferred.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students as identified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and participate in the development of IEP goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
