- Estimated Compensation: $26.26 - $28.70 per hour (negotiable).
- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours a week.

Summary of Duties
The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for providing nutritional counseling and creating individualized nutrition plans to promote health and manage disease. The RD will assess patients' dietary needs, develop meal plans, and provide education on healthy eating habits.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Must hold a current Registered Dietitian (RD) license in the state of [Insert State].
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Completion of an accredited dietetic internship.
- Certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Nutritional Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' nutritional status, including dietary intake, medical history, and lifestyle factors. Use standardized tools and clinical observations to identify areas of need.
- Meal Planning: Develop and implement individualized meal plans based on assessment results. Adjust plans as needed to meet changing patient needs and preferences.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about nutrition, healthy eating habits, and disease prevention. Provide guidance on how to make informed food choices.
- Counseling: Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to address specific dietary concerns, such as weight management, diabetes, and cardiovascular health.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, meal plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Ensure compliance with all documentation standards.
- Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe and clean environment.
