Job Summary

The Project/Construction Management Head is responsible for managing all the projects of the residential housing subdivision in terms of cost, quality, time, and safety of the housing construction and land development works. He will work closely with the PM and CM Area Heads to ensure that all the projects under him will be carried out according to the standards of the construction industry while keeping tabs with the company’s policies, procedures, and prime requirements. He will be primarily responsible for reporting the department's accomplishments to the company’s higher management.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Construction Management
 Monitors the progress of all projects and ensures that the company’s targets are timely delivered as
required.
 Conducts weekly coordination meetings with area heads to address any problems that may arise during
the implementation of different projects.
 Ensure proper coordination with all concerned departments at all times to avoid impediments to the
progress of work.
 Anticipates all issues and problems of the whole PM/CM Residential Housing to mitigate the delays in
the execution of the works.
 Maintains its table of organization by ensuring that all primary positions are filled up to guarantee that
the projects are ably supervised.
2. Quality and Cost Control
 Works with area heads to ensure that the PM/CM team adheres to the company's quality
requirements and the industry's standards
3. Construction Health and Safety
 Ensures that the PM/CM Team follows and implements the COSH minimum requirements.
 Ensures that the projects are compliant with health and safety requirements.
4. Security and Safety
 Implement the security and safety plans, procedures, and policies of the PM/CM Team.
 Ensure compliance with the company's, LGU's, and industry standard safety rules.
 Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
5. Team Coaching
 Enhance the competencies of the staff; Ensure that staff will undergo corresponding trainings and seminars.
 Ensure that the team will keep up with project management's digitalization

Technical Competencies and Skills

 Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)  Able to execute tactical plans for effective/efficient construction management of assigned projects.  Able to report/highlight issues for timely resolution so as not to adversely impact on the delivery of required project performance parameters (in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety)  Able to use construction management systems/tools (e.g., project monitoring and reporting applications similar to  Primavera P6, Microsoft Project Planner, Smart sheet

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

 Graduate of BS Civil Engineering  Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer  With at least 25-years work related experience in construction  Proficiency in use of construction project management tools  Experience in Project Management and Project Scheduling is a must  With COSH Certificate is a plus
