Job Summary

The Cashier Supervisor – Golf is responsible for overseeing the daily cashiering operations of the golf facility, ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing, strict cash control, and exceptional guest service. This role ensures compliance with financial policies and audit standards while supporting operational efficiency through team supervision, revenue reconciliation, and coordination with the Accounting and Income Audit teams. The position also plays a key role in training and developing cashiers to maintain service excellence and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cashiering Operations & Revenue Control

  • Supervise and support golf cashiers in handling daily transactions, including payments, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all revenue streams such as green fees, driving range usage, and pro shop sales.
  • Implement and enforce proper cash handling and control procedures to minimize discrepancies and risks.
  • Coordinate with the Income Audit and Accounting teams for timely and accurate daily revenue reporting.

2. Customer Service & Issue Resolution

  • Ensure delivery of prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all golfers and guests.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing and payments in coordination with relevant departments.

3. Systems & Compliance Management

  • Monitor POS and financial systems to ensure functionality; report and escalate issues to IT as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal audit standards, and BIR regulations.

4. Staff Training & Development

  • Train, mentor, and schedule cashiers to ensure proper staffing levels and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support continuous improvement.

5. Administrative & General Responsibilities

  • Keep immediate superiors informed of any issues or unusual matters affecting operations.
  • Prepare reports to support management decision-making and operational analysis.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Golf and Hotel teams to promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Uphold and project a professional image of the golf course and the hotel at all times.
  • Adhere to and promote the company's guiding principles and core values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in cashiering, revenue control, or financial supervision, preferably in a golf course, hotel, or resort environment.
  • Previous experience in handling POS systems and financial software is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures, revenue reconciliation, and basic accounting principles.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in supervising, training, and scheduling staff.
  • Willingness to work in Clark.
