Job Summary

The Water Distribution Operator, reporting to the Operations Engineer, will provide support on the operation of the water distribution system network in Filinvest Properties.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·       Maintaining and monitoring of deepwell operations within the assigned Filinvest Properties ensuring its compliance with Philippine regulations

·       Operating plant equipment such as deepwell pumps, chlorine dosing pumps and chlorine tester

·       Perform daily operational task such as, but not limited to:

o    Cleaning of water tank area

o    Cleaning of dosing pumps and check residual chlorine

o    Inspection of deepwell station for defects

o    Mother meter reading and electricity monitoring

·       Install new service connections per advisory by Water Distribution Engineer

·       Reconnect water meter upon advice from Billing and Collection Dept.

·       Maintains, repairs and installs plumbing and related fixtures and components water distribution system

·       Conduct monthly meter reading

·       Cleaning of water storage tanks at least once a year.

·       To report all illegal connections to Operations Engineers

·       Perform other tasks as may be assigned 

Technical Competencies and Skills

• Must be certified Industrial Electrician, with 2-3 years’ experience exposure to industrial maintenance. • Experienced Welder/Mechanic • Valid Driver’s License (4 Wheels) • Pleasing personality and good communication skills. • Has good attention to details. • Able to work independently and achieve efficient results with minimum supervision. • Demonstrates high integrity and accountability in all dealings. • Delivers excellent customer service with a high degree of professionalism. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

• At least high school graduate or technical/vocational training
