Filinvest Hotel: Quest Plus Conference Center Clark
In accordance with the policies, procedures, and standards of Filinvest Hospitality Corporation and Quest Plus Conference Center Clark, the Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and overall reliability of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and architectural systems across golf and resort facilities.
The role ensures that all engineering assets, including the Golf Clubhouse, Bay49, Teehouses, Hilltop, Motorpool, and other Mimosa Golf infrastructures, are maintained at optimal performance to support seamless operations, safety, and exceptional guest experience.
Golf & Facilities Operations
- Supervises and monitors all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and kitchen equipment.
- Conducts regular inspections of all operational areas to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.
- Responds promptly to maintenance requests and operational concerns from Golf Operations and other departments.

Ensures timely repair and rectification of defective equipment.

Monitors ongoing renovation and maintenance projects to ensure quality and timeliness.

Maintains updated engineering records, manuals, logbooks, and equipment history for proper tracking and evaluation.

Provides technical support during events, including coordination of audio-visual requirements.
- Conducts regular safety inspections and hazard assessments and implements corrective actions immediately.
Energy & Utility Management
- Develops and implements energy conservation measures, including shutdown and switching schedules.
- Monitors utility consumption and ensures optimal use of electricity, water, and other resources.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Monitors inventory and ensures that engineering materials and spare parts are maintained within established par levels.
- Assists in the preparation and monitoring of the departmental budget.
- Prepares cost estimates for repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects.
- Ensures all assigned projects and activities are completed within approved budgets.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforces the proper use of personal protective equipment at all times.
- Supervises contractors and ensures compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Conducts regular safety inspections and implements corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Responds to emergency situations and assists in fire safety operations, including monitoring of fire pump systems.
Preventive Maintenance
- Implements and monitors preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities.
- Maximizes equipment uptime to minimize operational disruptions and enhance guest satisfaction.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinates closely with the Duty Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer to ensure smooth operations and proper turnover.
- Acts as the focal point for all contracted projects, ensuring schedules are properly communicated and downtime is minimized.
- Collaborates with all departments to address engineering-related concerns in a timely manner.
Inventory and Spare Parts Control
- Maintains adequate stock levels of spare parts and consumables for all engineering equipment.
- Monitors inventory and ensures timely replenishment to support uninterrupted operations.
General Responsibilities
- Leads and supports the achievement of engineering and maintenance goals.
- Ensures all repair and maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Responds promptly to guest feedback and operational concerns.
- Monitors daily utility usage and promotes cost efficiency.
- Upholds sustainability practices, including waste reduction, recycling, and resource conservation.
- Demonstrates and promotes the core values of Filinvest Hospitality Corporation.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related engineering course
- Preferably a licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- At least 3–5 years of experience in engineering operations or maintenance, preferably in a hotel, resort, or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems

Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and coordinating technical teams

Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues efficiently

Knowledge of safety standards, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Flexible, hands-on, and able to respond to operational needs, including emergencies and shifting schedules
