Plant Operator - Boracay

Job Summary

The Desalination Operator is in-charge of the daily operations of treatment plant and compliance to applicable laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and chemical treatment systems, to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep sewage treatment plant equipment and systems in good working condition.
  
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to prevent equipment failures and prolong the lifespan of plant assets. 
  
• Escalate immediately to immediate head any issues or abnormalities and/or parts for immediate replacement and procurement as required for repairs and maintenance activities.
  
• Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of chemicals and other treatment agents used in the sewage treatment process
• Prepare and submit reports to immediate head regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance measures, including data on effluent quality, chemical usage, and equipment performance.

Technical Competencies and Skills

• Must be certified Industrial Electrician

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
